Riciclaggio Metalli (translated in English is metal recycling)
Metal recycling is worth doing, certain types of metal are more profitable than others. Copper, aluminium and brass are three types of metal recycling that is profitable.
What metals can be recycled?
Most metals are able to be recycled. There are a couple that cant such as plutonium and uranium, these are known as reactive metals. In normal day to day life, you will not come into contact with these two metals.
Metal separation can happen at a recycling plant, separating and recovering metals is a huge process, machines such as current eddy separators and metal detectors can recover and recycle most metals.
Metal recycling (Riciclaggio Metalli) is environmentally friendly, as many metals are naturally occurring and very recyclable. If you have lots of metal to be recycled, you would normally have to take it to a scrap yard, however, in some places, you can leave it outside your house and a scrap metal man will drive around and collect it for free.
Copper is one of the most valuable metals that can be recycled. It is reddish/orange in colour. Many copper metals can be found in old plumbing pipes, cooking pans and old extension cords.
Aluminium is another metal that is worth recycling. Things like bicycles and car hoods contain aluminium. Old beer and pop cans are aluminium too.
Brass is a combination of copper and zinc and can be found in keys, doorknobs and faucets. It can look quite similar to copper but is less valuable.
Lead is known for its industrial properties, corrosion-resistant and excellent pliability. It is used in wheel weights and pipes.
